Sewon was born in Korea and is married to Suhee Lee and has 2 children Sunjune and Sunmoon. He is a former Korean Government official and a former Director at E&Y Consulting respectively in Seoul, Korea.
Sewon has a very broad international experience of very high level especially of business, commercial and diplomatic relations between Korea and Latin America and Mexico in particular where he now lives.
Today he is the Honorary President in Mexico of the Korea Importing Companies Association (KOIMA).
But he was General Manager of the Latin America Business Division and Director of the branch office, Sao Paulo, Brazil and Quito, Ecuador of the Korean company DAEWOO CORPORATION.
He worked at the Korean Embassy in Mexico for 16 years.
He was General Director & CEO of Samkwang Industries de Mexico S.A. de C.V., a Korean company.
Mr. Sewon graduated from the Graduate School of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, Korea in Multinational Business Administration.
But also, from the University of La Laguna, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain (Economic Sciences) and from the very famous Complutense University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, Spanish Government Scholar, (Economic Sciences).
He complemented his economic/business studies with literary studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, Korea, Spanish Literature.
Sewon is the specialist of cultural differences between Mexico and Korea in Olivier Soumah-Mis team.
